Summary
As a National Sales Development Manager, you will drive the launch and growth of our innovative paper-based pallet wrapping solutions across North America. You will be responsible for the market introduction, expansion and sales of the company’s fully automatic and semi-automatic paper pallet wrapping machines. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep understanding of stretch wrapping industry that can spearhead developing and executing comprehensive sales strategies, including identifying relevant market segments and building a robust target customer pipeline. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience cultivating and managing relationships with key national clients. Additionally, experience with complex automated equipment and related sales processes is essential.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Lead the strategic development and implementation of comprehensive sales and business development plans in collaboration with the VP of Sales and Product Management
Identify key market segments and major end users, ensuring effective market penetration across all geographic territories.
Build and nurture relationships with top-tier national accounts, including key decision makers at various organizational levels, to support account-specific growth strategies.
Effectively manage and oversee the sales process for both complex integrated automated solutions and standalone semi-automatic solutions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, engineering, project execution and technical support, to align goals and deliver seamless customer experiences
Champion new market growth initiatives and innovative routes to market by leveraging product and marketing expertise.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree.
Minimum 5 years of experience working with stretch wrapping solutions and equipment sales
Proven consultative selling skills with a history of selling technically demanding automated equipment. Demonstrated success in technical sales and support to ensure high customer satisfaction
Strong commercial mindset with a hunter mentality, effective closing skills and a strategic approach to account management
Experience working with integrators, engineers, and operations managers, with a solid understanding of various Warehouse Management Systems and their functionalities
Experience in planning and managing customer implementation projects, including hands-on involvement in multi-project management and client onboarding.
Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills, with the confidence to engage stakeholders at all organizational levels.
Strong problem-solving abilities with the capability to explain complex processes in an understandable way.
Self-starter that can work independently while fostering collaborative relationships
Proficiency in using CRM tools for tracking leads and managing sales pipelines
Travel expectation 50% time.
