MAPLE LAWN NURSING HOME CNA in Palmyra, Missouri
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The Nursing Assistant will provide direct patient care and support healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality medical services.
Duties:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, and feeding
- Take and record vital signs accurately
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families
- Assist healthcare professionals with medical procedures
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient confidentiality
Requirements:
- Previous experience in senior care, home care, or patient care preferred
- Knowledge of care-giving techniques and practices
- Familiarity with working with people with developmental disabilities
- Ability to handle behavioral health situations with empathy and professionalism
- Proficiency in taking vital signs accurately
- Experience working with elderly is a plus
