Insight Global Culinary Coordinator in Palo Alto, California

Job Description

This is a full-time, on-site Culinary Coordinator role at Insight Global in Palo Alto, CA. The Culinary Coordinator will be responsible for managing food and beverage operations, ensuring food safety standards, delivering excellent customer service, and overseeing food service activities on a day-to-day basis.

Responsibilities:

  1. Site Support:
  • Regularly visit the 20 sites to oversee culinary operations.

  • Ensure that vendor services align with established standards.

  • Conduct quality assurance checks to maintain consistency and excellence.

  • Collaborate with site managers to address any operational challenges.

  1. Vendor Management:
  • Evaluate vendor performance based on predefined scorecards.

  • Monitor product quality, freshness, and rotation.

  • Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely deliveries and adherence to schedules.

  • Maintain a roadmap for continuous improvement in collaboration with suppliers.

  1. Operational Efficiency:
  • Ensure sites are opened and closed on time.

  • Oversee cleanliness, organization, and stock levels.

  1. Quality Assessment:
  • Conduct thorough assessments of vendor services.

  • Use scorecards to evaluate vendor performance.

  • Identify areas for improvement and work collaboratively with vendors.

5.Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including site managers, chefs, and suppliers.

  • Facilitate collective action plans to enhance culinary services.

  • Communicate effectively with limited information, adapting to changing circumstances.

Skills and Requirements

Communication and Customer Service skills

Experience in Food & Beverage and Food Service

Knowledge of Food Safety standards

Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

Strong organizational and time management skills

Team player with a positive attitude Previous experience in a similar role is a plus

Certification in Food Handling or Food Safety is beneficial null
