Role Overview

ACS (Advanced Compute & Solutions) is seeking a SaaS Product Marketing Manager to spearhead the growth of our future-oriented businesses, including Data Science, AI and other emerging areas. This pivotal role involves working with teams on some of the most exciting and cutting-edge products within HP's portfolio.

The SaaS Product Marketing Manager plays a pivotal role in driving the success of new solutions by developing and executing comprehensive Go-To-Market (GTM) Strategies. This role focuses on optimizing the customer journey, from awareness to conversion to advocacy, through data-driven approaches and continuous experimentation. Collaborating closely with various teams including product management, sales, and marketing, this role ensures alignment with overall business objectives and customer growth targets. This position requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in product marketing, particularly in the realm of Software as a Service (SaaS), and a deep understanding of customer growth marketing principles.

This role offers an opportunity to drive the ongoing development and implementation of ACS DS/AI GTM strategies in alignment with our evolving business goals and customer expansion targets. As a key contributor, you will play a pivotal role in the scaling of exciting technologies in shaping the future of computing.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Develop and execute Go-To-Market strategies for new solutions, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and customer growth targets.

  • Optimize the customer journey, from awareness to conversion to advocacy, by implementing data-driven strategies and continuous experimentation.

  • Define and analyze key performance metrics, including customer acquisition cost (CAC), customer lifetime value (CLV), conversion rates, and churn, and use insights to optimize GTM strategies and tactics.

  • Orchestrate buyer enablement with deep knowledge of buyer behavior, the sales funnel, key touchpoints for each stage of the journey in partnership with business development and sales teams to enhance sales productivity and velocity.

  • Conduct market research and analysis to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape, and utilize insights to test, validate and iterate on winning GTM strategies.

  • Develop and implement customer acquisition and retention programs, leveraging various channels such as digital marketing, content marketing, events, and industry partnerships.

  • Lead collaboration with product management, sales, and marketing teams to drive successful product launches and ongoing marketing campaigns that resonate with target buyer and user personas.

  • Be a thought leader and influencer at the most senior levels within HP

  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in SaaS, customer growth marketing, and go-to-market strategies, and share knowledge with the team.

Experience, knowledge & skills:

  • 10+ years of experience in product marketing, with a focus on customer growth marketing and SaaS products/services.

  • Demonstrate a customer experience-first mindset, exceptional storytelling abilities, and ability to think strategically, balancing a broad range of internal and external factors when identifying opportunities and proposing solutions

  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful go-to-market strategies for SaaS products, resulting in measurable business and customer outcomes.

  • Deep understanding of SaaS business models, customer lifecycle, and subscription-based pricing models.

  • Excellent business judgment, investigative, and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision making.

  • Able to distill complex concepts into easily understood concepts for executive consumption, direction or decision-making.

  • Highly collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence without direct authority.

  • Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.

  • Experience working in fast-paced, agile environments with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field

  • MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is 135, 850.00 - 196, 880.00 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
