Insight Global Fire Inspector in Panama City, Florida
Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Fire Inspector in Panama City, FL for a large engineering consulting company. The fire inspector will be responsible for inspections of residential, commercial, industrial and other buildings during and after construction. This individual will be working collaboratively to ensure plan reviews, permits and other assigned work is completed timely and correctly. Additionally, this role will consist of inspecting structures and check plans to obtain code and ordinance compliance in all occupancy classifications as they relate to new construction, fire extinguishing systems, fire alarm systems, weed abatement, special events, complaints and related fire/life safety issues. In coordination with the Deputy Fire Marshal, coordinate inspection assignments. Interpret and enforce provisions of fire prevention, fire and life safety laws, codes, ordinances and other regulations. Perform periodic and follow-up inspections of new and existing buildings, structures and installations requiring Fire Department clearances.

Skills and Requirements
Minimum of three years experience in annual inspections with fire department in restaurants, factory, warehouse, and office environments.
Florida Fire Safety Inspector I certifications
Thorough knowledge of state and local codes. null
