Bid & Proposal Manager
As the Bid & Proposal Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing and driving proposal development activities, with a primary focus on managed services contracts. You will be responsible for creating comprehensive work plans, directing RFP response outlines, and ensuring strict compliance with all RFP requirements. In this role, you will also collaborate with multiple teams to support seamless integration efforts across various work streams, ensuring that proposals are aligned with business objectives and delivered on time. Welcome to the exciting world of Sales at Avanade! As a key player in our team, you will manage the bidding process for large, complex proposals, including IT service solutions and process design consulting. Your role will involve overseeing bid submissions from initial contact through contract signing, with a particular emphasis on establishing trading terms. You will also validate technical solutions and manage all proposal management activities, ensuring conformance to RFP requirements. Join us in making a significant impact and driving success. What you will do:
· Manage proposal development activities with a focus on managed services contracts
· Create work plans and direct RFP response outlines
· Ensure compliance with RFP requirements and secure necessary internal approvals
· Coordinate involved parties and support integration efforts across various work streams
· Develop and maintain proposal schedules and quality control functions
· Oversee customer liaison and business partner/vendor coordination
· Implement and monitor team performance metrics
Skills and experiences
· Experience managing bids for complex IT projects and solution selling
· Strong understanding of Avanade solutions, Microsoft products, and technology services
· Excellent customer interface and presentation skills
· Solid grasp of Microsoft technologies concepts
· Strong negotiation and project management skills
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Strong technical and business acumen
