We’re looking for a results-oriented, performance-driven Marketing Manager to manage and execute the marketing plans in France. You will partner with the district sales and channel management team and the EMEA Geo Go-To-Market teams to build data-driven plans supporting Go-To-Market and regional sales/channel strategies to generate awareness and drive quality pipeline with a target contribution for the business. The successful candidate will have a proven record of strategic planning, field and channel marketing experience - and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves.
Develop, refine and orchestrate the plans in France based on the sales and channel leadership business objectives and the Go-to-Markets (XGTM) priorities and strategy
Formulates and agrees with focused partners and distributors their Marketing plans, execution methods and objectives. Monitors the execution of the channel marketing plans in accordance to Palo Alto Networks guidelines
Actively advise and work with the theater Go-to-Market & demand teams on your region’s needs as they develop, plan, execute, and measure supporting campaigns
Drive local, high-touch, thought leadership activity to build C-level relationships
Directly execute and own a broad range of critical components of your marketing plans focused on distinct strategic focus areas
Educate, enable and support your sales/channel teams on how to leverage and utilize the marketing campaigns and activities running in the country.
Educate and enable the sales team on accepting and converting leads to opportunities.
Drive regular communication on metrics and XGTM marketing activities execution progress for France, including activities managed centrally by the marketing GTM teams touching your area.
Reviews and assesses the results of the executed activities/plans and monitors the sales & channel organizations follow up to measure the ROI.
Effectively manage the co-marketing funds and monitor spending as per Palo Alto Networks guidelines: Co-marketing participation is proposal based and approved on the clear business value to both Palo Alto Networks and our NextWave partners as well as the expected results associated with the agreed marketing activity.
Deliver an operational excellence cadence by managing budgets, SFDC campaigns and leads process to meet operational targets and SLAs
Manages the execution agencies and re-evaluates their services and prices and monitors their executions periodically.
Minimum 8 years best-in-class B2B marketing experience within the IT industry.
“Do whatever it takes” attitude. A unique and proven ability to develop strategy and execute, day in and day out, at an incredibly high level against consistent results.
Excellent communicator with proven ability to clearly convey complex ideas and data in written, presentation and spoken formats to a variety of audiences.
Ability to influence and build trusted relationships with direct and matrixed stakeholders.
Ability to learn and be able to articulate the Palo Alto Networks Story and GTM pitches.
Ability to provide consultative input to sales managers & business partners.
Good understanding of business management and operations including finance, revenue and pipeline principles.
Experience in digital marketing is desirable.
Experience in account-based marketing and C-level executive programs is desirable.
Willingness to learn, embrace challenges, persist in the face of setbacks, see effort as a path to mastery, learn from constructive criticism and find lessons and inspiration in the success of others.
Sound knowledge of spoken and written English as the company's business language is English.
