Palo Alto Networks Partner Acceleration France in Paris, France
At Palo Alto Networks® everything starts and ends with our mission:
Being the cybersecurity partner of choice, protecting our digital way of life.
We have the vision of a world where each day is safer and more secure than the one before. These aren’t easy goals to accomplish – but we’re not here for easy. We’re here for better. We are a company built on the foundation of challenging and disrupting the way things are done, and we’re looking for innovators who are as committed to shaping the future of cybersecurity as we are.
Disruption is at the core of our technology and on our way of work to meet the needs of our employees now and in the future through FLEXWORK, our approach to how we work. We’re changing the nature of work from benefits to learning, location to leadership, we’ve rethought and recreated every aspect of the employee experience at Palo Alto Networks. And because it FLEXes around each individual employee based on their individual choices, employees are empowered to push boundaries and help us all evolve, together.
We are working with our key Service Providers (SPs) in EMEA to build new managed offerings that will play a critical role in securing our customer networks. Through the company’s Service Provider Technical Go-To-Market (GTM) program, the goal is growing the Managed Services partners and enabling delivery of the company’s products and services through them. Bringing solutions to market faster and with increased profitability for our partners.
As the SP Enablement Specialist, you will have the unique opportunity to accelerate the technical readiness of our Service Providers to deliver managed services. The work includes understanding the overall GTM strategy of the SP and designing an enablement blueprint aligned to their strategy. Creating innovative plans to leverage existing training content, labs/demos and resources to design world class training strategies.
A successful candidate is one who thrives in charting a new course and collaborating cross-functionally to build more efficient approaches. You will have technical knowledge in the cybersecurity space to understand which training content is ideal for the situation and will understand the channel sales model. This role is less about creating curriculum/delivering the content, and more about building an enablement plan for an individual Service Provider that capitalizes on the available content and meets our mutual business goals.
As a Service Provider launches a new managed service, you will understand the business and revenue goals of the new service. Then drill down on the technical service description and use cases to learn how the offer will be deployed and integrated into the SP’s existing network/infrastructure. Most importantly, you will gain insight into the SP’s key differentiators and unique value propositions for the offer.
Research and create a ‘toolkit’ of available training content, certification programs and demo capabilities to apply to the situation
Collaborate with training teams in the company to fill gaps in the ‘toolkit’
Work with the account team Systems Engineer (SE) to customize the generic training content to the SP’s solution
Coordinate the building of a Minimum Collateral Package (MCP) for the launch of each new service
Collect the details of the demographics/personas of the individuals that require training
Define business outcomes for enablement efforts and design initiatives/campaigns to support the goals
Organize individual enablement project plans that are customized for each SP
Coordinate lab/demo inventory available to partners and work with lab leads to fill gaps in the portfolio
Design ongoing enablement programs to develop a community of interest at the SPs and drive brand loyalty to Palo Alto Networks
Champion the creation and utilization of MSSP-specific certifications/credentials
As part of our Systems Engineering team, you’ll support the sales team with technical expertise and guidance when establishing trust with key clients. You won’t find someone at Palo Alto Networks that isn’t committed to your success – with everyone pitching in to assist when it comes to solutions selling, learning, and development.
