Job Purpose This position will be responsible for collaborating with the BSA Officer in the supervision of Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)/Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) activities in accordance with the Peoples Bank's mission statement and strategic plan. Work involves supporting the BSA Officer in directing a comprehensive BSA and OFAC program to ensure compliance with applicable rules and regulations. The position is responsible for managing and leading the BSA staff in conjunction with the BSA Officer including selection, training, coaching, motivation, and evaluation. This position must have an advanced level of understanding of the Bank Secrecy Act, sanctions laws and regulations, including but not limited to: the USA PATRIOT Act, Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and other anti-money laundering regulations, OFAC regulations, and an in depth knowledge of the FFIEC BSA/AML Exam Manual. Will be responsible for maintaining knowledge and staying current on changes of all BSA/AML policies, procedures and regulations.
