Robert Half Finance Manager in Parsippany, New Jersey
Description We are offering an opportunity for a Finance Manager to join our team in FLORHAM PARK, New Jersey. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing various aspects of accounting and overseeing an accounting clerk in a hybrid work setting. This role will require a professional who can comfortably multitask in a small company setting and has knowledge of accounting software systems.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the preparation and consolidation of financial statements.
• Handle bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Manage month-end close procedures and ensure timely completion.
• Supervise an accounting clerk, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Utilize accounting software systems, such as QuickBooks, for various accounting tasks.
• Execute various accounting functions, including accounts payable and annual budget preparation.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with established standards and regulations.
• Participate in budget processes and contribute to financial planning initiatives.
• Use CRM and Enterprise Resource Planning systems for effective management of customer relationships and resources.
• Resolve customer inquiries relating to their accounts and the company's financial procedures. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required
• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is necessary
• Prior experience with Concur is beneficial
• Familiarity with CRM systems is required
• Proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning is beneficial
• Understanding of Accounting Functions is essential
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is necessary
• Experience in preparing Annual Budget is required
• Knowledge of Auditing processes is beneficial
• Familiarity with Budget Processes is required
