TEKsystems Research Coordinator in Pasadena, California

Research Coordinator

3 month contract with possibility of extension

Schedule: 8am-5pm

Pay: $33-$40 HR

Hybrid Schedule – Office in Pasadena, CA

Under the direction of the Director of Health Systems Science (HSS) Research Operations, the Research Coordinator will provide research coordination and project management for the HSS.

The main functions of this position are to:

  • Coordinate proposal development for extramural funding

  • Provide study coordination and project management for several research awards – including coordination for all study activities, such as recruitment, data collection, and analysis

  • Prepare IRB protocols and associated study documents to ensure regulatory requirements are met prior to new and incoming research studies.

    Skillsets Needed:

  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work positively as a team member as well as independently.

  • Ability to handle confidential information sensitively and appropriately.

  • Ability to compose and synthesize documents.

  • Knowledge of research methods, including regulatory and IRB compliance. Coordinate and/or facilitate data analyses for primary and secondary data, in collaboration with study investigator and supervisor

    Required Education: Masters Degree
