Aston Carter Talent Acquisition Manager (Hybrid) in Pasadena, California

A California-based Financial Services Company is hiring for a hybrid Talent Acquisition Manager out of its Pasadena, CA, location!

Must be willing to go onsite in the Pasadena, CA, location.

Must have 5+ years of Recruiting Management. Financial industry preferred.


  • Monitors the hiring process being utilized throughout the organization. May conduct preliminary interviews of both internal and external candidates for all departments and branches.

  • Manages and coordinates the recruitment of management and executive level employees. Makes decisions on where positions are sourced and recommends appropriate resources based on positions being filled.

  • Consults and advises management on appropriate salaries and job descriptions based on current market.

  • Provides coaching to recruitment team and management on how to interview to ensure that the appropriate questions are being asked.

  • Responsible for collaborating with universities providing input on the creation of and co-instructing training on Behavioral Interviewing courses to management team.

  • May provide career development options and guidance to internal applicants to ensure their success.

  • Effectively manages the recruitment activities through sources such as; Credit Union Publications, employee referral, job fairs (both internal and external), various electronic resources, and downsizing companies.

  • Responsible for managing and/or writing and placing Job postings for open positions.

  • Establishes goals and objectives for Recruitment in alignment with organizational vision and goals.

  • Develops Recruitment budget and monitors compliance to budget on an on-going basis.

  • Monitors industry developments and trends to ensure that the client remains competitive and knowledgeable of current hiring trends within the industry.

  • Meets regularly with members of Management Team to identify needs and gain feedback.


Recruiting Management, Financial Recruiting, management skills, recruitment management software, applicant tracking systems, talent acquisition, talent management, applicant tracking software, job boards, reporting, KPI management, etc.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong communication- Verbal & Written

  • Used to working in a team of 6 or more

  • Understands the bigger picture (strategic, metrics, partner to business units)

  • Understands legal aspects of Recruitment

  • Knowledge of Background process, fingerprinting process, regulatory laws

  • Someone who has been a Recruitment Manager

  • Bachelor’s Degree, however we will accept candidates with experience in lieu of degree

  • Strong knowledge of ATS system

  • Completed Affirmative Action Plans

  • Position requires five to seven years of experience managing all element of recruiting functions

  • Advanced communication skills including written, oral, presentation, and interpersonal skills are required with the ability to work with all levels of the organization.

  • Knowledge of financial institution operations is desired.
