Job Description

Additional common management responsibilities as listed in Shipbuilding Management Charter 0001 within command media (SBMC 0001) and applicants should review the Charter and policies and procedures before applying for position.

Basic Qualifications

 

High School Diploma and 8 years of experience with 4 years in a craft management role.

Must attach a resume

Must be willing to work any shift

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

*Experience in the Cost and Schedule accountability, and the ability to organize priorities to meet major events.

*Must have progressive professional and/or supervisory work experience.

*Demonstrated basic computer skills are required.

*Must be able to read a blueprint.

*Must have ability to enter confined spaces, crawling, bending, climbing ladders and stairs when required. 

*Proven leadership ability.

*Communication and relationship skills -- able to deal    effectively with all levels of Ingalls and customer reps.

*Construction experience in a marine setting is preferred,
