Corteva Agriscience Regulatory and Stewardship Manager, Crop Protection & Biologicals in Pasig, Philippines

Description

  1. Regulatory Affairs

· Lead the strategic planning and execution of Regulatory and Stewardship programs to realize Corteva business growth in the Philippines by managing registration of Crop Protection and Biologicals products as aligned with country and global teams.

· Develop regulatory dossiers in collaboration with regional and global registration teams for timely registration of crop protection products in line with business objectives.

· Execute the applications and approvals of product registrations at the Fertilizer and Pesticide Authority and Bureau of Plant Industry.

· Provide the regulatory information, impact on the business and implications to facilitate the regulatory and government affairs strategy and implementation and the existing or future business in a short or long run.

· Plan the country regulatory resources and plan in short and long term.

  1. Stakeholder Engagement and Outreach

· Develop the country RAS CP/Biologicals strategy and establish relevant networks to enable the solutions and favorable environment for product and technology delivery in cooperation with Regulatory Policy Team and External Affairs team.

· Represent the company in key policy, regulatory, industry and academic meetings to advocate company interests and positions.

· Support the advancement of corporate initiatives to promote the welfare of our customers and the communities where they live in.

· Build and strengthen the relationships with key stakeholders in government, academe, community and industry for acceptance of Corteva Products.

  1. Regulatory Science and Operations

· Work closely with Integrated Field Sciences and other relevant functions to ensure that registration trials and projects are appropriately resourced.

· Lead the development of regulatory dossiers or position papers to ensure that requirements by relevant regulatory agencies are met.

· Monitor and maintain legal right to sell. Ensure updated product registration

· Maintain all Licenses to Operate and warehouse licenses.

  1. Regulatory Compliance and Product Stewardship

· Participate in the review of product labels following Corteva process

· Prepare and monitor the execution of product stewardship plans and submit timely reports to the Fertilizer and Pesticide Authority.

· Manage and oversee processes to ensure compliance with all government regulations, permit conditions and internal processes and standards throughout the product lifecycle.

· Take part in the relevant product stewardship program led by the product stewardship team.

· Coordinate with Supply Chain and Customer Service to ensure regulatory compliance for import and export.

· Coordinate with SDS specialist for updates and review of product SDS.

  1. Other Responsibilities

· Actively participate in the LPCT to support the development and registration of new products

· Provide timely support to commercial team on regulatory related matters.

Qualifications

· Bachelor's or master's Degree (favorable) in Biotechnology, Crop Protection, Agriculture, Chemistry, Toxicology, or related courses

· Preferably with 5-6 years of experience in regulatory or related technical disciplines and with good understanding of regulatory framework and processes for crop protection agricultural or biotech products. Familiarity with regulatory dossier preparation.

· Ability to interpret regulatory requirements, analyze range of studies and extract relevant information for drafting of comprehensive dossiers for submission

· Fast learning abilities, cross-functional and cross-cultural working adaptation.

· Good organizational and project management skills and ability to work to deadlines

· Regular travel to regulatory agencies

· Good communication skill

· Good scientific and technical report writing skills.

· Computer proficient (word processing, spreadsheets)
