THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON AWARD!!!
Description: Performs inspection, diagnoses, repairs, and monitors systems structure, gear, controls, power, and electrical and/or electronic systems and components as assigned. Receives technical guidance from team leads and/or supervisors, which may be more senior technicians. Uses hand tools, power tools, machines, and ancillary equipment required to perform assigned tasks. Reads and interprets service and manufacturer maintenance manuals, instructions, service bulletins, technical data, engineering data, and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of maintaining and repairing malfunctioning systems, and/or ancillary equipment. Follow specific requirements for Ordnance maintenance IAW CNAFINST 4790 and maintenance instructions. Cleans aircraft parts and assemblies with solvents or other cleaning solutions. Performs other job-related duties as assigned based on skillsets.
Education: High School Diploma or GED.
Experience: Basic knowledge of common hand tools.
