The College:
Paul Smith’s College is a small liberal arts school located within the 6-million-acre Adirondack Park of upstate New York. The college campus is a 14,400-acre mosaic of intact and working forests, academic facilities, diverse water bodies, numerous wetlands, and a vast trail network. Academic programs at the college take full advantage of our unique location to provide unmatched experiential education. The college offers over 20-degree options. Description:
The Social Science/Humanities term faculty is responsible for teaching a variety of undergraduate courses, including those outlined in the duties and responsibilities.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Teach a variety of undergraduate courses including, but not limited to Social Research Methods, Social Issues, and Cultural Anthropology.
The teaching load for this position is four courses per semester.
Qualifications:
Must have a master’s degree (Ph.D. preferred) in a relevant field.
Highly collaborative and creative educator.
Successful candidates will complement the expertise of existing faculty and contribute to high quality experiential education.
Ability to work with a broad range of diverse individuals and groups to form a safe and inclusive workplace.
