Actalent Engineering Documentation Specialist in Peabody, Massachusetts

Job Title: Engineering Documentation SpecialistJob Description

Support the engineering team by organizing documentation and pulling reports when necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and manage engineering documentation.

  • Pull and generate reports as needed.

  • Ensure document control and maintain accurate records.

  • Handle customer service inquiries related to engineering documentation.

  • Manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).

  • Utilize SolidWorks and Product Data Management (PDM) systems for data entry and document management.

Essential Skills

  • Experience with document control and engineering documentation.

  • Proficiency in Excel.

  • Exposure to SolidWorks.

  • Knowledge of BOMs and ECOs.

  • Data entry skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong customer service skills.

  • Experience in an engineering environment.

Work Environment

The role will primarily report to the Haverhill office after an initial training period of approximately 60 days, with some time in the Peabody office. A hybrid schedule is available once fully trained, allowing for 1 or 2 days per week of work-from-home flexibility. The exact schedule may be adjusted based on work performance and workload. The work environment includes collaboration with team members across both Peabody and Haverhill locations.
