Full time or Part-time Nephrologist

Lahey Hospital and Medical Center

Burlington, MA

About the Division of Nephrology:

The Division of Nephrology & Hypertension, Lahey Hospital & Medical Center is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible nephrologist to join our Division comprising 8 staff physicians and a nurse practitioner. Our division members care for a diverse spectrum of patients with kidney disease and hypertension, including a large ESRD population. In addition to shared outpatient dialysis rounding, dialysis patients are seen monthly in the office.

About the job:

  • Busy inpatient consultative service, providing inpatient dialysis care with CRRT and intermittent HD in a 6 bed inpatient dialysis unit

  • We have a robust kidney and liver transplant service and our nephrologists work closely with our transplant team and transplant nephrology colleagues

  • Call is 1:8 with opportunities to moonlight over weekends.

Academic Opportunity

  • Members of our division are actively involved in medical student teaching both with student rotations in our division and in the Renal Pathophysiology course at Tufts University School of Medicine. In August 2024, the inaugural cohort of students will start at a new UMass Chan-Lahey regional campus of UMass Chan medical school.
