Insight Global Packaging Operator in Peachtree Corners, Georgia
Job Description
A partner of Insight Global is looking for a Packaging Operator to join our dynamic and diverse team. The operator will be responsible for the following:
1. Support the start-up and continuing operation of a 24x7 Solar Cell manufacturing facility.
2. Operate and maintain packaging equipment in manufacturing solar cells to achieve daily manufacturing objectives and goals within quality specifications and desired yield.
3. Package solar cells according to specified procedures and standards.
4. Inspect packaged products to ensure quality and conformance to specifications.
5. Collaborate with production team to meet production targets.
6. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
7. Document and report any issues or irregularities observed during the packaging process.
8. Follow all safety, quality, and other manufacturing and engineering procedures to meet productivity, quality, cost, goals, and customer standards.
9. Transport wafer carriers and carts from one operation to the next.
10. Work with maintenance and engineering to troubleshoot equipment and process problems.
11. Maintain high standards of housekeeping, safety, and quality, including the 5S system.
12. Communicate and assist the production team with troubleshooting production issues, day-to-day activities and process improvements.

Skills and Requirements
* High school diploma or GED.
* Ability to operate manual, semi-auto, and automated packaging equipment / machinery.
* Good verbal communication skills.
* Attention to detail and commitment to Quality.
* Positive attitude and ability to treat all team members respectfully. - Experience in a manufacturing environment, Solar or Semiconductor industry null
