Naval Supply Systems Command MANAGEMENT & PROGRAM ASSISTANT in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii

Summary You will serve as a Management and Program Assistant in the Business Department, Talent Management Division of NAVSUP FLC PEARL HARBOR. Responsibilities You will prepare monthly calendar, schedule appointments, maintains suspense files and tracks action correspondence to completion You will use database or spreadsheet applications to enter, revise, sort and retrieve data for personnel reports. You will use office automation applications to produce a wide variety of correspondence, reports, records, briefing materials and statistical and narrative material. You will assist in tracking mandatory training completion through the command’s various training coordinators, and provides statistics/reports to command leadership. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-6 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing administrative support for civilian personnel programs such as training and development, incentive awards, performance reviews; 2) Using office automation applications to produce a wide variety of correspondence, reports, records, briefing materials and statistical and narrative material; 3) Maintaining strategic workforce staffing plans (organizational charts) and ensure all civilian gains/loses are properly updated; 4) Coordinating with office staff to ensure all records are in appropriate order for review/inspection Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website: https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/#url=List-by-Occupational-Series Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
