Aston Carter Senior Procurement Manager in Pennsauken, New Jersey

Description:

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced procurement manager to lead and transform our indirect procurement management. This role will oversee indirect category management with an estimated $60M in spend and act as the Center of Indirect Excellence. The successful candidate will drive continuous improvement in the procure-to-pay process and identify cross-border savings opportunities. The focus categories include, but are not limited to, Travel & Entertainment (T&E), Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO), fleet, energy, temporary labor, and banking, with some support for CAPEX negotiations. This position will have one direct or indirect report.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transform and manage indirect procurement processes.

  • Oversee indirect category management with a focus on T&E, MRO, fleet, energy, temp labor, and banking.

  • Drive continuous improvement in the procure-to-pay process.

  • Identify and implement cross-border savings opportunities.

  • Support CAPEX negotiations.

  • Lead and mentor one direct or indirect report.

Must Haves:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, purchasing, supply chain management, or a related field.

  • 8+ years of progressive procurement experience.

  • 3+ years of experience in indirect categories such as transportation, marketing/IT spend, energy, etc.

  • ERP system experience, with SAP preferred.
