DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Clinical Dietitian, you will coordinate, inspect, and evaluate the therapeutic diet program while maintaining adherence to HIPAA standards. You will be responsible for ensuring optimal nutritional status of residents by planning, implementing, and evaluating nutritional interventions. You will also be responsible for completion of initial, annual, and significant change nutritional assessments (SAND Assessment) for residents. In addition, you will w rite nutritional care plans and make dietetic recommendations for implementation consistent with physician’s orders and dietetic needs.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment (37.5 hours per week)

  • Work hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

Special Requirement:

  • Certification as a Registered Dietitian as defined by the Commission on Registration of the American Dietetic Association; or proof of eligibility for such certification.

    Legal Requirements:

  • A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.

  • This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.

  • Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
