This position is responsible for a range of cleaning tasks related to the upkeep and maintenance of our buildings, equipment, and furniture. DESCRIPTION OF WORK

Each day, your role involves ensuring that patients and employees have a clean and well-maintained environment. Your duties encompass cleaning and upkeep of restrooms, shower rooms, patient dormitories, day wards, hallways, stairs, offices, dining areas, lobbies, and recreation areas. You will conduct an annual cleaning of walls, windows, screens, lights, curtains, blinds, and ceilings. Floors will also be stripped, waxed, and maintained on an annual basis. This position requires lifting, climbing ladders, and operating and cleaning all housekeeping equipment. Additionally, you will empty all trash receptacles, inside and out, and keep all areas tidy and free from debris.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment

  • Work hours are from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Sunday through Saturday, with a 30-minute lunch break. You will have rotating weekends, working approximately every fourth weekend, and will receive days off during the week.

  • There is potential for overtime and travel as required.

  • May change based on operational needs.

    Legal Requirements:

  • A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.

  • This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.

  • Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
