THE POSITION

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this role, you will serve as the employee development specialist and the lead for the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board’s (PGCB or Board) diversity, equity, belonging, and inclusion efforts. You will be working across the agency to incorporate these issues into the structure, program, policy development, and decision making of the PGCB. This position reports to the Director of Human Resources, but may receive direction and instruction from the Board, Executive Director, and Administrative Director. The position gives you the opportunity to work in close association with the Director of Diversity and the Human Resource Specialist assigned to placement on matters of recruitment and community outreach.
Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment
Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday.
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
Four years as a PGCB Human Resource Assistant;or
Two years of experience in the performance of professional human resource duties and a bachelor's degree;or
An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements:
You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Preferred Qualifications (not required):
Experience in employee development and promoting an inclusive workplace culture.
Legal Requirements:
Employment is contingent upon the completion of a Personal History Questionnaire with a thorough background investigation, including drug screening and the subsequent review and approval by the Board.
