Job Description Summary

HR support partner for the Pensacola [Manufacturing] Site’s Leaders, Managers and Employees; and serves as the HR manager of record for client group(s). Leverage in-depth knowledge of HR foundations and experience to coach on organizational and employee matters, HR process expertise and other general HR activities. Interprets basic internal and external business challenges and recommends best HR practices to improve products, processes, or services. Stays informed of industry trends that may influence scope of work. Uses understanding of key business drivers to accomplish work, and how team dynamics integrate with other functions and contributes to success.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • HR partner and first point of contact for employees & managers, providing leadership, coaching and support for individual employee needs & HR processes.

  • Manages a small team of HR professionals.

  • Research and influences HR policy formulation in support of Site operations.

  • Leads HR projects with minimal resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity.

  • Communicates challenging HR concepts and may influence others to consider a different point of view.

  • Impacts the Site team's ability to achieve service, quality, and timeliness of objectives.

  • Regularly advises Site management on HR related operations and has a supportive role in decision making.

  • Make decisions and handles complex HR tasks or problems that impact the Site.

  • Assess quality of information given and investigates accordingly.

  • Offer solutions to HR challenges and can construct/provide recommendations.

  • Uses multiple internal and external sources [that may be outside of the HR function] to drive decisions.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.

  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive HR experience [within a manufacturing environment]
