Summary You will serve as a EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY SPECIALIST in the Office of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) (Code OOC) of ASSTSECNAV M-RA WASHINGTON DC. Responsibilities You will provide technical and administrative support for the Secretariat EEO team and the Office of EEO staff. You will assist in complaints processing function, including counseling, investigation and adjudication of individual and class complaints of discriminations filed. You will provide administrative support, secure records, data, and documentary information. You will assist with the processing of reasonable accommodations. You will enter accurate and complete e-information in databases to create, compile and maintain EEO case files for complaints and for reasonable accommodation in accordance with regulatory procedures. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience providing technical and administrative support on multiple EEO programs (Affirmative Employment Program, Special Emphasis Programs, Complaints Processing Program, Disability programs, etc.). Experience applying technical skills to carry out complaint processing functions (Counseling, investigation, adjudication, etc.) of individual and class complaints of discrimination. Experience reviewing and assisting with the development of procedures and processes for reasonable accommodation requests.
