Department of the Navy/Assistant for Administration PROGRAM ANALYST in Pentagon, Virginia

Responsibilities You will serve as a specialist for analyzing, evaluating, advising on visualizing, or improving the effectiveness of current and proposed Department of Navy Office of Force Resillency (OFR) data measures. You will work closely with DON (OFR) to recommend data standards, definitions, and reporting structures for civilian and military OFR information You will conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses on a wide variety of Office of Force Resiliency (OFR) variables including but not limited to: training completion, command climate, demographic, and others. You will develope plans, methods, procedures, and techniques for acquiring, compilng and presenting statistical data. You will use advance mathematical, statistical, and other scientific methods and techniques to cinduct studies, data analysis, and modeling. You will coordinate and produce periodic and ad hoc reports using business intelligence software. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience conducting data processing and statistical analysis to evaluate data and prepare reports for higher level review; Experience applying analytical and evaluative methods and qualitative and quantitative techniques to conduct reviews, audits, or surveys concerning the efficiency and effectiveness of programs and operations; Experience utilizing automated tools to extract and evalaute data. Education Additional Information This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Several vacancies may be filled.
