Leidos is seeking an Innovative Channels Manager for our Ameren Illinois Residential Energy Efficiency Program. In this role, you will work to continuously drive, direct, and document all aspects of the Initiatives under your charge, striving to inject innovation into the energy efficiency portfolio.

The Innovative Channels Manager will provide day-to-day operational oversight, direction, and follow-up, and strategic guidance of new pilot programs, The Joint Utility Effort (with Nicor Gas), Tree Planting Initiative, School Kits, and other Residential Program innovation efforts. Responsibilities include collaborating with implementation partners and client staff, producing and delivering status reports, engagement with external entities regarding innovative and trending measures and channels, budget/savings management, and full support of client requests. The Innovative Channels Manager will report to the Residential Deputy Program Manager and also work/communicate very closely with other Initiative Managers and the Residential Program Manager.

Location: Ideal candidate would need to be located within the Ameren Illinois Service Territory or need to relocate within six (6) months from date of hire.

The Challenge:

  • Drive efforts in all facets of the Initiatives under your care that may include: Residential innovation efforts and pilot initiatives, Joint Utility Channel, Tree Planting, and School Kits by providing necessary direction, critical communication and oversight to subcontractor personnel

  • Contribute to process enhancements and devise strategies to propel initiatives, fostering their growth and development.

  • Work closely with the Innovation Team, Residential Program Manager and Deputy Program Manager on internal operations, client support, and stakeholder management

  • Lead/manage client relationship with Ameren Illinois Residential Energy Efficiency Advisor

  • Build industry relationships, provide insights to ensure that programs run efficiently and effectively and constantly respond to changing market conditions

  • Provide leadership, clear direction/frequent follow-up, and overall execution guidance to Leidos residential and subcontractor personnel

  • Establish milestones and monitor adherence to program plans and schedules, identify program problems and develop solutions

  • Advanced data analysis to support reporting, program improvement and new strategy development

  • Participate in the evaluation of program effectiveness (measurement and verification)

What Sets You Apart:

  • Bachelor’s degree with two plus (2+) years of relevant experience, implementing energy efficiency programs or projects. May consider more years of relevant experience in lieu of degree

  • Expertise in project management, energy efficiency, innovative solutioning, serving income qualified customer segments, building science

  • Ability to work well either as a team or as an individual

  • Proven ability to communicate effectively

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel)

  • Working knowledge of Salesforce

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

  • Willingness to travel up to 20% (may include occasional overnight travel)

Preferred:

  • Industry certifications including, but not limited to: BPI, PMP, CEM, LEED

  • Professional affiliations including, but not limited to: AESP, MEEA, ACEEE, ASHRAE, or AE

Pay Range:

Pay Range $55,250.00 - $99,875.00

Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
