Capricorn Marketing Coordinator (6 Month Contract) in Perth, Australia

Role Purpose

The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for coordinating campaigns, promotions and communications that drive growth from existing and new Members. The role requires a broad range of marketing knowledge to assist the marketing team to deliver on its objectives.

Key Accountabilities

• Provide support to the Communications Specialist in developing and delivering campaigns that meet and exceed targets.

• Assist in the development of Campaign Plans, design briefs, coordinate approvals and execution of plans, and Post Campaign Reviews

• Execute advertising and promotion activity that drives Member growth

• Provide support to sales teams and product teams to increase Member engagement and sales

• Manage the delivery of advertising material across print and digital channels including socials and edm's

• Review and proof promotional collateral to ensure they are in line with brand guidelines

• Assist in writing and circulating Public Relations materials

Support other Marketing Functions

• Assist Digital &Content team in the development of Capricorn's digital assets

• Assist the Creative Services team in creating and editing marketing collateral and other items

• Assist in content creation

• Assist in management of the collateral portal where Field teams order collateral items

• Adhere to agreed design guidelines as outlined in the Capricorn Style Guide

• Liaise with printers, mailing houses and other suppliers as required to fulfil marketing requirements.

• Ensure all final materials and communications to Members, Preferred Suppliers or the Public are approved as per the relevant proofing and approval process.

Skills, Knowledge and Attributes

• A solid understanding of marketing principles and practice, including B2B and direct marketing.

• Demonstrated creative ability

• Excellent written communication skills

• Flair for design while meeting the requirements of the brief and business.

• Demonstrated ability to establish and manage positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders

• Excellent organisation skills and high levels of attention to detail.

• Experience in digital marketing such as edm's, website development and SEO principles

• A broad awareness and understanding of digital marketing solutions, such as website development, email platforms, SEO/SEM principles, Social Media and PPC.

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Design, Illustrator and Microsoft Office would be well regarded

Experience

• A solid understanding of marketing principles and practice, including B2B and direct marketing.

• A minimum of 12 months' work experience in a similar role

Qualifications

• Ideally, tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications or a related field
