IHG Night Auditor / GSA - PT - Holiday Inn West Perth in Perth, Australia

Located within walking distance to Kings Park, Holiday Inn West Perth is IHG’s first Perth property outside of the city centre. Part of the hotel’s charm is the former 1902 Walsh Family residence which sits at the front of the property as a destination restaurant, as will the two character-filled boardrooms that currently occupy the space. Additionally, all 101 guestrooms are undergoing a soft refurbishment to bring it in line with Holiday Inn’s standard, and what our guests want.

The role:

This role is ideal for someone whose lifestyle fits working a night schedule. This position works 2 nights per week, these days will be fixed, but are not set at the moment so we can work around your schedule! Shifts are from 11pm – 7am. 

Our night team structure has one colleague working each night, so you must be comfortable working independently once the training/onboarding period is complete. This role may also on occasion be required to handle anti-social behaviour by guests in the hotel. 

As a Guest Service Agent working at night, you'll not only be the person our guests rely on to handle transactions, offer local insights and anticipate every detail of a seamless free experience during the overnight shift, you also create the warm atmosphere that makes our guests feel at home. 

You'll have the ambition, talent and key skills to ensure you finalise the audit & balancing the Hotel's systems and accounts each night ready for the next day, as well as maintaining the safety & security of our guests. 

*The perfect candidate will have: *

Previous experience in auditing procedures.

A working knowledge of hotel property management system or previous Hotel experience.

Excellent communication skills, bilingual or multilingual language skills are advantageous.

Approved Manager Card (if you do not have this we will put you through the training however you must be able to provide a National Police Clearance).

Responsible Service of Alcohol Certification. 

The ability to work autonomously. 

Candidates must be available from 11pm – 7am for 2 nights of the week and must meet the legal requirement to work in Australia.
