­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­Job Summary:

The Region Operations and Productivity Director will work as operating partner of region GM to drive the operational excellence in all aspects of SQDC via daily management and standard work, operating cadence, problem solving and various continuous improvement initiatives initiated both in the region and shared from global teams. He will also lead and drive cost out targets across contractual and transactional portfolios, by partnering with both OFS (One Field Services) event management team and service ITR team to focus on outage Planning, Execution and Closeout outcomes. Will ensure to optimize all Region outages by deep diving into real time cost and OTD tracking, resource optimization, shift patterns, tooling, productivity projects, standards versus estimates and actuals, etc. This role will lead a combined team of Operation management team, Productivity Managers and Project Controls Analysts.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the daily management and operating cadence in the region at different levels with ops team support to drive operational excellence and discipline in all aspects of SQDC

  • Drive the problem solving on common issues/challenges coming out of DMs at different levels, NCRs, and DORs, and initiate and drive continuous initiatives across sub region/functions leveraging cross-function team support

  • Utilize global processes in place to drive outage Planning, Execution and Closeout operational processes inclusive of reporting operationalmetrics and KPI at both sub regional and regional levels to ensure business objective are met, while being accountable for regional delivery and cost KPI as function owner

  • Drive cost out targets for contractual and transactional portfolios by partnering with customers, Service ITR and OFS Regional teams to develop effective positions and practices needed to achieve targets

  • Establish and implement targets for all projects based on technology, site configuration, scope of work and work closely with Service Managers and CPM to achieve.

  • Manage Contractual Services business KPI’s and event execution impacts to the business.

  • Leverage the standardized packages provided by Global value stream team such as Live Outrage to execute outages and industrialize them while ensuring regional best practices and lessons learned are included.

  • Standardize processes to achieve cost-out targets through utilization of job cost estimates (JCE) or similar tools as well as schedules aligned to scope of work

  • Influence Global Value stream and Ops team to drive the next wave of productivity or process improvement ideas.

  • Partner with Service ITR region leadership team, as well as OFS resource/event management team to work the demand/supply planning, key event management process to deconflict and optimize our fulfillment capability to meet the customer requirements in the competent and competitive way.

  • Partner with Quality team to conduct deep dive analysis and reviews in support of any RCAs.

  • Build Region Productivity and Project Controls teams in multiple regions in partnership with operations teams.

  • Develop team members as people leader through coaching and mentoring

  • May be assigned other duties to help proactively drive our OFS vision and align with our organization’s core values.

Required Qualifications & Experience :

  • Bachelor degree from an accredited university or college in Operations, Engineering, Management or related field

  • 12+ years progressive experience and demonstrated success/knowledge

  • 7+ years managing and developing multi-discipline teams, preferably with international reach across multiple service types

  • 5+ years in areas of operational excellence, transformation, and continuous improvement/productivity in the long-term service segment in power industry.

  • Able to connect, communicate and collaborate across all level of stakeholders/peers within OFS and Service ITR team to champion one team and influence changes

  • Fluent and proficient in both spoken and written English

Desired Characteristics:

  • Master’s degree preferred

  • Demonstrated success leading Productivity or Operation Excellence teams

  • Field Service or Project control/project management experiencesin power industry

  • Lean practitioner or knowledges/experiences on leveraging lean methodology to drive problem solving and continuous improvement.
