About the Role:

The EA Senior Procurement Manager for Malaysia is a strategic position and is a trusted advisor, problem solver and coach to account procurement, EA Account FM and procurement champions in respect to procurement deliverables. This position is an individual contributor and is expected to also deliver against the strategy.

What You’ll Do:

  • Successful delivery of the bids, due diligence, transition and operate pipeline

  • Drive strategic partnership with preferred vendors to provide innovations and competitive solutions

  • Ownership of supplier partnership program including, but not limited to innovation, relationship management

  • Create and execute the procurement strategy to meet / exceed country procurement deliverables

  • Provide strategic inputs to Enterprise accounts to ensure regional and country procurement strategies are executed at account level

  • Foster vested partnership between CBRE and vendor via strategic initiative and event such as Vendor conference, industry events

  • Strong partnerships with the key stakeholder in Singapore including participation in the Pacific Business Review sessions

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships across Procurement for the benefit of Clients across Pacific

  • On occasion participate in regional and / or global workshops and transformation

  • Drive standardization, leverage best practices, tools, technology, data, programs, and resources

  • Identify, analyse, and mitigate risks in all procurement related activities

  • Provide training, tools, templates and resources to all stake holders (incl. procurement champions) to increase knowledge and adoption of procurement solutions

  • Others allocated by direct supervisor

About You:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business related discipline. Equivalent relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree

  • Strong functional and supplier management experience

  • Strategic thinking and problem solving capabilities

  • Deep understanding of procurement in Malaysia

  • Strong commercial acumen and highly accountable

  • Ability to analyse and solve complex challenges / problems

  • Action oriented and results driven whilst maintaining positive and constructive professional relationships

  • Advanced communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to consult, negotiate, influence, and liaise effectively with people at all levels of the organisation

  • Highly collaborative and able to drive cross functional outcomes

  • Instils trust, both with direct teams, across the organisation, and with customers and suppliers

  • Resilience, proactivity, and an ability to work at pace in an evolving and demanding environment

  • Strong change management and execution skills
