Job Description
Insight Global is seeking Mechanical Engineer to join the Pressure Boundary and Analysis team at a top Nuclear client. This resource will be responsible for setting the technical direction for the overall project and act as the main technical interface point to both internal and external customers. You will primarily focus on the design and analysis aspects of pressure-retaining systems and components for CANDU reactors. Day to day responsibilities include concept design, stress analysis, design reports, overpressure protection reports, maintenance and operational support.

Skills and Requirements
5-10 years Mechanical Engineer Experience
Certified P.ENG or close to completing
Experience in the design of custom equipment, typically: steel structures, hoisting systems, mechanical drives, cranes, pressure vessels or piping systems
Experienced in pressure retaining systems and/or material handling and/or structure codes to CSA and ASME
Strong FEA background using ANSYS and proficient in stress analysis calculation
Excellent Communication Skills
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering Nuclear Industry Experience
Experience with 3D CAD Software (Inventor or SolidWorks)
Knowledge and experience working to nuclear quality assurance programs that meet the requirements of CAN/CSA-N285.0 or NQA-1 null
