We are in search of a dedicated and dynamic Social Media Content Editor to join Procter & Gamble Beauty in our headquarters in Geneva. In this role, you will specialize in designing, adapting, and optimizing social media creatives and digital content across all our Beauty brands. Your role is pivotal in elevating our online presence, bringing our brands to life in a creative and scroll-stopping way, and resonating effectively with our audience. You'll need a profound understanding and passion for content design, AI, social media trends, and digital platforms.

By working collaboratively with cross-functional teams in Geneva and across Europe, you'll ensure our brand's online presence is both engaging and accessible.

  • Social Media Content creation: Assist in crafting and lead in adapting digital content that leverage social media trends and innovative concepts, making them visually striking, engaging, impactful, and accessible.

  • Data-Driven Design Enhancements: Real-time performance analysis and optimization. Use insights derived from performance and platform trends to make assets perform better, and leverage learnings and insights for future content creation.

  • Social Media Trends and Platform Expertise: Stay up-to-date with social media trends, TikTok trends, algorithms, and platform shifts, especially as they relate to the beauty industry.

  • Insights Gathering and Transparent Analysis: Collect and share insights with broader team from platform analytics to inform transparent design and platform strategies.

  • Website and Newsletter Content Design: Design and create online newsletter and website content that is visually appealing, user-friendly, and aligns seamlessly with our brand's messaging and visual identity. Collaborate closely with the web development team to recommend and implement new designs.

Job Qualifications

  • Proven Expertise: Demonstrated experience in editing and designing high-quality digital content, including interactive elements (dynamic typography, cinematic transitions, color grading etc.)

  • Digital design Proficiency: Mastery of editing tools and software, including but not limited to Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator. Understanding of aspect ratio and content type across digital platforms and meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy and consistency in design elements, typography, color schemes, and image selection.

  • Social Media platform knowledge: Familiarity with the latest features, trends, and best practices to optimize content for each specific platform. Dedication to staying updated with evolving design trends, emerging technologies, and industry developments.

  • Data-driven decision-making: Strong analytical skills and ability to apply performance data to inform design changes.

  • Eye for beauty and branding: Passion for beauty and experience in designing for beauty brands is a big plus. Understanding of branding principles and the ability to maintain consistent visual identity across social media platforms.

  • Adaptability and Agility: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and tight deadline, demonstrating leadership and autonomy.

  • Collaboration: excellent interpersonal & collaborations skills. Ability to build strong relationships and work across diverse teams and multiple stakeholders.

  • Educational Background: bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Design or a related field, with a strong passion and skill for design.

  • English language proficiency both written and spoken. Very good capabilities of another EU language (e.g. German, French, Spanish, Italian) can be an advantage.
