Essential Responsibilities
Leads development and implementation of design for service strategy into new product design, in partnership with segment teams. Drives Service engagement into World Wide Technology and Product Planning (WWTP/WWPP), drives growth and maturity of service feature adoption, and shares best practices across segments for service design standards.
Provide technical leadership for design for IP protection, connectivity in the service installed base, next generation connectivity, technical training and documentation, and predictive/remote service tools. Drive execution to roadmaps and program plans in these areas.
Drive NPI readiness and sustainability for documentation, including driving global documentation standards, consistent and usable manual content creation and access, development and maintenance of translation platform, troubleshooting knowledge management, and curation of digital service forms.
Drive effective technical development for advanced service use cases leveraging artificial intelligence and self-healing through partnership with the STO, segment engineering teams, and IT.
Drive global training technology and machine data structure program execution on time and on budget according to program roadmaps.
Lead effective communication with segment and region service teams, incorporating field feedback into the design process.
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Product management, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field
15+ years progressive leadership experience in product management, service delivery, service sales or related field
Strong leadership skills to influence cross functional and global teams
Strong leadership skills to drive culture changes, influence technology development, create/drive product vision and roadmaps
Strong oral and written communications skills
Strong program execution skills
Strong strategic mind and clear thinker
Desired Characteristics
MBA, MS or PhD in Engineering, computer science, or related field
15+ years experience in Healthcare service, product development or related field
Deep expertise and personal credibility in connectivity, generative AI and emerging technologies
Digital industry acumen
Experienced team leadership for horizonal teams
Ability to work and travel globally
