Job Summary The Department of Health Management and Policy (HMP) invites applications for the position of Associate or Full Professor in the tenure track. We seek scholars with demonstrated research, teaching, and service experience in any area of health policy and management. Research areas of interest include but are not limited to public health policy, policy evaluation, dissemination and implementation science, health economics, organizational dynamics and change management, or other areas of public health policy and management, broadly defined. Leadership opportunities in the department may be available for those with interest. This is a 9-month, tenured or tenure-track appointment to be made at the Associate or Full Professor level. Under the current workload policy for tenured and tenure-track faculty, effort is allocated 50% to teaching, 30% to research, and 20% to service. Faculty with externally funded research effort can use this support to increase effort allocated to research and offset their teaching load (buyouts at 30% and 45%). The teaching component includes instruction of 3 courses per year (averaging 1 per quarter during the academic year) and regular advising of students in the department's academic programs, with a minimum teaching load of one course per year (with a maximum of two buyouts). Essential Functions

Teaching Research Service Other duties as assigned Required Qualifications A PhD or doctorate in Public Health, Health Policy and Management, Health Services Research, or a closely related field is required. 5 years of experience in a directly related area is required. Teaching excellence in health management and policy. Commitment to conducting rigorous, high-level research, including the production of policy-Relevant scholarly publications. Track record of external funding. Success in collaboration, teamwork, and mentoring. Commitment to the School's mission and values including antiracism and social justice.
