DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a Clerical Assistant 2, you will provide clerical support to the Administrative Officer 1 at the Delaware Valley Veterans' Home. You will be responsible for preparing admissions schedules, sending announcements, making copies, and distributing admissions information to all involved in the admission process. You will also conduct tours to potential residents, families, and other responsible parties as needed for the Admissions Coordinator.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment. Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (commonwealth title); or Graduation from high school; or An equivalent combination of experience and training. Additional Requirements:

You must be able to perform essential job functions. Legal Requirements: A conditional offer of employment may require satisfactory completion of a medical examination. This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.

Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance. How To Apply:
