We are currently seeking a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) Specialist for our new Gene Therapy Innovation Center (GTIC).
Primary duties will include the following:
Manages and maintains Asset and Maintenance Materials master data for the Spark campus using the company’s CMMS, SAP.
Includes onboarding of new assets and scheduling maintenance plans harmonized with operating and shutdown schedules.
Manages, maintain, and optimizes schedules in collaboration with facilities and operations management.
Own the CMMS change process for asset criticality, preventative maintenance procedure changes and spare parts changes.
Enters spare parts in the material master, constructs BOMs, and assigns stocking levels in collaboration with stakeholders.
Ensures data integrity, provide periodic reporting to track KPIs.
Assist with annual spare parts inventory in support of GTIC maintenance and facilities operations by generating the inventory and participating in end of year counting.
Assists system owners and teams with special projects.
CMMS, SME (Subject Matter Expert) and championing the use of Aspire (SAP) within Spark maintenance and facilities.
Responsibilities
Guide implementations and proactively optimizes the CMMS harmonized with established operations.
Collaborates effectively with the maintenance planner and scheduler to tailor system use to facilitate optimized maintenance execution.
Owns asset and material master data integrity including entry of all data in
accordance with criticality assessments completed by stakeholders.
Initiates and manages maintenance schedules in collaboration with facilities and engineering system owners exclusively in the CMMS.
Owns and manages the CMMS master data change procedure including changes to PM plans, schedules, and asset criticality in collaboration with the Quality Assurance.
Enters and manages spare parts data to support reliable operations of assets.
Develops SOPs and Work Instructions (WIs) in collaboration with asset and system owners to optimize CMMS use.
Act as maintenance and facilities operations CMMS SME (subject matter expert).
Authors and conducts CMMS training updates in collaboration with CMMS system administrators.
Fosters Spark Core Values, teamwork and continuously supports Sparks continued growth and success.
Requirements
5 to 10 years’ experience operating a CMMS (SAP Preferred) in a pharmaceutical manufacturing maintenance environment.
High School Diploma
SAP Certifications a plus.
GxP Maintenance system audit or experience in a regulated industry preferred.
Proficient with technical documentation including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs).
Skills, Abilities, and Competencies
Ability to own asset and maintenance materials data integrity.
Commitment to own change process for CMMS data and act as SME championing CMMS use.
Ability to work in close collaboration with engineering and the maintenance team providing the work execution data infrastructure.
Ability to prioritize effectively and work independently or in a team environment.
Knowledge or willingness to learn of building, mechanical and industrial principles.
Good interpersonal and strong written/verbal communication skills.
Maintenance of documentation in an organized audit ready status
Spark takes into consideration a combination of candidate’s education, training, and experience as well as the position’s scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required in the role, and external market and internal value when determining a salary for potential new employees. The base salary range for this position is currently from $89,000 to $133,400.
