Job Summary Drexel University's Facilities Management Department has available FT custodian openings (40 hours per week). The qualified candidates will provide a clean and safe atmosphere for the students, faculty, staff, and guests of Drexel University. Essential Functions Collect trash and maintain receptacles in offices, classrooms, labs, dormitories, rest rooms, and public spaces. Clean rest rooms, including sinks, mirrors, toilets, urinals, doors, lights, walls, and floors. Clean classrooms and dormitories, including walls, floors, desks, blinds, trash receptacles, doors, whiteboards, and chalk trays. Occasionally perform high dusting and window cleaning upon direction from Supervisor. Clean laboratories, including walls, floors, counters, doors, waste receptacles, windowsills, blinds, and other items assigned by Supervisor. Strip and wax hard-surface floors; shampoo and bonnet carpets. Perform moderate to heavy lifting as needed, including snow removal, and moving furniture and equipment. Operate buffers, burnishers (electric), burnishers (battery), and push carts with cleaning supplies and materials. Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED OR  5 years of relevant experience required Additional Information This position is classified as Non-Exempt with a hourly pay of $19.45.
