Description
We are seeking a Cyber Security Engineer based in the Greater Pennsylvania region. This role is vital to maintaining the security and efficiency of our systems, focusing on the management and modernization of Single Sign-On (SSO) and access management strategies, particularly with Microsoft Entra ID. As a Cyber Security Engineer, you will lead the transition to Entra ID, manage technology integrations, and continuously refine access management protocols.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the design and management of Single Sign-On (SSO) and access management solutions using Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft Authenticator.
• Oversee the migration from existing SSO systems to Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft Authenticator, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Ensure SSO and access management practices comply with all relevant healthcare regulatory requirements, supporting internal audits by providing necessary documentation and expertise.
• Develop and refine access management frameworks that align with roles and responsibilities, optimizing for both security and user convenience within the Entra ID ecosystem.
• Manage the integration of Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft Authenticator with existing systems, ensuring compatibility and security.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to SSO and access management, implementing measures to prevent unauthorized access and ensure data integrity.
• Work closely with IT leadership, clinical teams, and compliance officers to understand access needs and develop solutions that balance security with usability.
• Continuously monitor SSO and access management systems, generate reports on access patterns, and adjust configurations as needed to address emerging threats or vulnerabilities.
• Perform duties in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Handle other duties as assigned to support the unit, department, and organization.
Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Entra ID is necessary.
• Comprehensive understanding and experience with IAM (Identity and Access Management) is required.
• Must possess the ability to manage, maintain, and improve Identity and Access Management systems.
• Significant experience in the field of Cyber Security Engineering is crucial.
• Demonstrated ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Knowledge of current security risks and protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Relevant detail oriented certification such as CISSP or CISM is desirable.
• Ability to work in a team and independently as required.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to make decisions based on a variety of factors.
• Demonstrate a high level of integrity, always working to maintain the confidentiality and security of the company's systems.
• Must be able to stay updated with the latest industry trends, threats, and vulnerabilities.
• Experience with incident response and digital forensics tools.
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware.
