Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an experienced DevOps Engineer III (AWS, Ansible, Terraform, Docker) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This role is primarily focused on supporting cloud deployments within the technology industry. The prospective candidate will be a self-starter with the ability to solve problems, collaborate with various teams, and effectively communicate at all levels within an organization.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with software development teams, product managers, and business owners to ensure smooth deployment and operation of systems.

• Build and maintain tools to monitor system health and reliability to meet business process requirements.

• Develop CI/CD pipeline configurations to orchestrate provisioning and deployment of large and small-scale systems.

• Automate and streamline operations and processes.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.

• Communicate status and risks to product teams.

• Implement automation tools such as Puppet, Terraform, CHEF, or Ansible.

• Manage deployments using Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, PostGres, MySQL, Redis, ElasticSearch, microservices, and message queues.

• Utilize version control systems like Git in an Agile environment.

• Ensure complete focus on security and risk mitigation through technology.

• Leverage AWS and other cloud technologies for effective solutions. Requirements • Proficiency in AWS Technologies, Ansible, Terraform, Docker, and Linux.

• Extensive experience in DevOps and Software Development.

• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

• Experience in configuration management and automation.

• Proficiency in MySQL.

• Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodology and financial services.

• Experience in workstation support and operations.

• Strong skills in monitoring tools and security.

• Proven ability to supervise teams and deployments.

• Experience with cloud technologies and scale-out systems.

• Strong communication skills.

• Experience in streamlining processes and risk mitigation.
