Position summary: Responsible for program management of multiple concurrent projects in various stages overseeing staff and managing client relationship.
Essential functions and responsibilities
Manage design and construction staff for program management contract overseeing up to $250M of Capital Budget projects at any given time
Manage financial budget and billing aspect of budget program management contract and allocate resources accordingly
Manage staff of subconsultants
Lead and contribute to the production of proposals as needed
Serve as a technical expertise resource to project managers and technical staff
Interview and hire staff as needed
Perform performance reviews for staff
Nonessential functions and responsibilities
Perform other related duties as assigned
Required Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
Required Experience
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field from an accredited program
Professional Engineer License is a plus
10+ years’ experience in specialized discipline
Progressive project management experience
Preferred Experience
Experience working with local clients at the city, county and state level
Supervisory experience
Working Conditions
Work is performed within a general office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require occasional standing and walking. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. within the office environment.
