Reference #: JR2679 STV is seeking an experienced Human Resource Business Partner to join our HR team. This position is designated as hybrid (3 days/week in office) and can be located in one of the following STV offices; Boston, MA, Hartford, CT, Philadelphia, PA, Baltimore, MD or Fairfax, VA.

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) is a strategic leader who partners with business executives and management to deliver comprehensive HR support. As a key member of the HR leadership team, the HRBP is responsible for alignment human resources practices with business objectives to enhance organizational performance, employee development and retention. This role requires an individual who can foster meaningful relationships across all levels of the organization, champion HR initiatives, and ensure compliance with HR policies while advancing diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging (DEIB) efforts. The HRBP reports to the Chief People Officer.

Key Responsibilities: Strategic Partnership: Act as the primary HR liaison for designated business units and/or departments. Collaborate with business leaders and the broader HR team to develop and execute HR talent strategies that support the organization's objectives. Provide expert guidance and advocacy on critical people matters, including workforce planning, organizational design, and leadership development. Serve as a trusted advisor and coach to senior leadership, driving a high-performance culture.

Talent Management and Development: Drive succession planning and talent development efforts to ensure a sustainable talent pipeline and robust retention strategies. Partner with business leaders to identify key talent and assess development needs and collaborate with the talent management team to implement initiatives that promote internal career growth.

Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB): Actively promote a diverse, equitable and inclusive work environment by integrating DEIB initiatives into HR strategies and organizational practices. Partner with recruitment and leadership teams to attract, retain, and promote diverse talent, fostering a sense of belonging and inclusion at all levels.

Employee Relations: Build and maintain a positive working environment by addressing employee concerns with empathy and fairness. Manage complex employee relations matters, including investigations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions, while maintaining confidentiality and legal compliance. Provide expert coaching to managers on performance management, employee development, and employee engagement strategies.

Compensation and Benefits: Collaborate with compensation and benefits team to ensure competitive, fair, and equitable pay practices that align with industry benchmarks and internal equity. Guide compensation-related decisions, including salary adjustments, promotions, and pay equity analyses.

HR Policy and Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state and federal labor laws, as well as company policies and industry regulations. Stay informed of evolving HR laws and industry trends, making recommendations to update internal policies as needed. Educate employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and best practices through ongoing training and communication.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Equivalent experience will also be considered. Professional certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) are highly preferred. Minimum 10 years of HR experience, with at least 6 years in an HR Business Partner or similar role, ideally in a fast-paced, high growth environment. Demonstrated success in building and maintaining relationships with senior executives, with the ability to influence and coach at all organizational levels. In-depth knowledge of labor laws, HR regulations, and HR best practices. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to prese t complex information clearly and tactfully. Strong problem-solving skills, including experience with employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously, while maintaining a focus on delivering high-quality results. Proficiency with HRIS systems, with experience in Workday preferred.

Compensation Range:$138,562.00 - $184,750.00
