Responsibilities:
Investigate short locations or missing products to maintain accurate inventory records.
Analyze data to anticipate future inventory issues and implement proactive solutions.
Maintain excellent record-keeping abilities to track inventory movement and levels accurately.
Ensure adequate stock levels to fulfill daily orders and meet customer demands efficiently.
Communicate effectively with customers via phone, email, or in-person interactions.
Oversee and lead a team of 3-6 members across different shifts.
Train new employees on Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to maintain consistency.
Work efficiently in cold temperatures within the warehouse environment.
Utilize experience with general warehouse equipment (stand-up forklifts, rider pallet jacks, turret, cherry picker, etc.).
Provide regular reports to upper management regarding stock levels, issues, and recommendations for improvement.
Requirements and Skills:
Proven experience in inventory management or similar roles demonstrating successful inventory control.
Familiarity with general warehouse shipping, receiving, and selection processes.
Proficiency in warehouse or inventory management software to facilitate accurate tracking and reporting.
Ability to generate and analyze reports using tools like Excel and PowerPoint.
Capability to maintain a running cycle count program and investigate discrepancies effectively.
Strong organizational and planning skills to streamline inventory operations.
Outstanding communication skills for effective team management and customer interaction.
Reliability and trustworthiness in handling sensitive inventory data and processes.
Great attention to detail to maintain accuracy in inventory records.
