Actalent Lab Support Specialist in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Description:

-Vendor Management -GMP -Inventory · Perform and document GxP and non-GxP equipment cleanings including but not limited to, incubators, water baths, and centrifuges. · Provide lab services such as: glass washer operation, autoclaving activities, waste removal, and troubleshooting of minor equipment issues. · Monitor supply of reagent and consumables for Laboratory Operations stock out program and assist with processing order requests using a web-based eProcurement system and SharePoint site. · Receive reagents and consumables ordered through SharePoint site and deliver to designated lab staff/storage areas throughout the lab, provide updates on orders as needed to requestors. · Using aseptic technique, prepare bulk reagent aliquots, buffers, cleaning reagents and monitor stock levels. · Assist EHS in maintaining a safe working environment. · Monitor operating processes for opportunities to increase efficiencies; participate in efforts to streamline current procedures. · Elevate laboratory operating issues through appropriate channels. · Working with vendors to order supplies
