Thomas Jefferson Univ Physical Therapist Per Diem: Jefferson Moss-Magee Center One in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Reference #: 9308165 The Physical Therapist, is responsible for the evaluation, treatment, and discharge planning of all patients referred for their given services. The Physical Therapist is an integral healthcare provider accountable to assist the patient to their highest level of function. The Physical Therapist will uphold the mission, vision, and values of Jefferson Health. Peds experience a plus however, not a requirement for this role. Clinichours are as follows: Mon and Wed 8am-8pm, Tues and Thurs, 8am -6pm, Fridays 8am-4pm  (this position is to provide coverage)

Since this position will require the selected candidate to engage in regular contact with children in the form of care, guidance, supervision or training, you will be required to meet the requirements of the Child Protective Services Act, including the Pennsylvania State Police criminal background check, the Pennsylvania Department of Welfare child abuse criminal background clearance, and an FBI finger print based federal criminal records check. The selected candidate will not be allowed to commence working until all three (3) are completed satisfactorily. Covid Vaccination is a requirement for employment at Jefferson for employees working at Jeffersonrsquo;s clinical entities or at the University. If you are not currently vaccinated you will be required to receive the vaccination prior to hire date if you are offered employment, unless you request and receive an approved medical or religious exemption from Jefferson. Bachelorrsquo;s, Masterrsquo;s, or Doctoral Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Program. AND Experience: 0-2 years of clinical practice required. 1 year preferred Valid PA state license in Physical Therapy. BLS, CPR certification required via AHA. Peds experience preferred.
