Penn Behavioral Health is looking for a PT Psychotherapist for Psy-O-Perinatal Mood - Anxiety department!!!!

Schedule: M-F Day

Summary:

  • The Penn Center for Women’s Behavioral Wellness is a division of Psychiatry focused on providing psychiatric and psychological services to individuals coping with mental or behavioral health concerns related to female reproductive life events including fertility/infertility, pregnancy, postpartum, menopause, and menstrual cycle related issues. The PCWBW is staffed by an interdisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and LCSW therapists and associated trainees, and the team works closely with other healthcare providers throughout the health system. Our clinic has opportunities for staff members to be involved in continuing education, community outreach, and supervision of trainees.

  • We are looking for individuals who are highly motivated, independent workers, who can thrive in a busy clinical practice seeing psychotherapy 7-8 patients/day. Preference given for prior training or interest in training to learn more about women’s reproductive psychiatry.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform confidential psychological assessments in an ambulatory psychiatric care setting with a diverse population of patients.

  • Provide evidence-based, time efficient psychotherapy to a diverse population of patients in an ambulatory psychiatric care setting.

  • Document the psychological assessment, evidence-based, time efficient treatment interventions, and treatment plans in a timely and appropriate manner, to maintain thorough records in compliance with regulatory and insurance requirements.

  • Provide case consultation and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams regarding individual patients.

  • Provide clinical supervision to student therapists in training. This involves cultivation and development of the next generation of psychotherapists.

  • Prepare and present didactic material to colleagues and students regarding various theoretical orientations and interventions.

  • Responsible for emotionally managing traumatic information on a daily basis.

  • Responsible for providing resilient self-support, and processing difficult information with colleagues.

  • Participate in quality improvement meetings; whereby, collaborative case conferences are presented and discussed.

Credentials:

  • LCSW or LPC (Required)

  • CPL PA Statewide PATCH Report (Required)

  • LCSW or LPC or LSW or MFT or NCC or PHD or RN or PS or RN or (Required)

Education or Equivalent Experience:

  • Master of Arts or Science (Required)

  • Masters in Social Work-MSW Minimum 3000 hours of post graduate individual psychotherapy experience Successful completion of the PEAC payer enrollment process by the UPHS Office of Medical Affairs.
