Actalent QC Analyst I - Sample Management in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Job Title: QC Analyst I - Sample ManagementJob Description

The Quality Control Analyst I – Sample Management will ensure time-sensitive distribution of quality control samples in support of QC-related activities. They will be responsible for sample inventory management as well as internal and external sample distribution, including storage and shipping under appropriate conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain raw material, in-process, and final product samples, including inventory tracking and reconciliation.

  • Ensure timely sample distribution in support of Quality Control activities, including internal distribution and external shipments.

  • Ensure proper storage of sample inventory and proper shipping conditions.

  • Support sample receipt and documentation.

  • Maintain current knowledge base of regulations, corporate policies, and industry best practices, trends, and standards to ensure compliance with applicable requirements.

  • Package samples using temperature-controlled dewars, cold packs, and dry ice.

  • Perform Quality Control activities.

  • Conduct peer review of logbooks.

  • Adhere to GMP and SOP procedures including GDP.

  • Assist with cycle counts.

Essential Skills

  • Experience with sample management within a GMP environment.

  • Experience managing raw material inventory.

  • Knowledge of sample preparation, biology, quality control, SOPs, and batch record management.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Life Science.

  • 1+ years of relevant GMP experience.

Work Environment

The role will primarily reside within an office environment but will require occasional visits to the lab.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $38.00
