Responsible for making and repairing fixtures, tooling, and machining parts used in the manufacturing process to make products.

- Comfortable in doing varied activities with multiple, simultaneous projects and tasks in a fast paced environment
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to meet customer/internal specifications and quality standards.
Job Responsibilities:
Monitor, organize, and maintain injection molding tooling
Inspect, measure, fit-up, and document new tools as they arrive
Support molding engineer during the conditioning of new tools
Repair damaged tooling by use of various tool repair techniques (welding, grinding, machining)
Troubleshoot production tooling and correct issues associated with flash
Read and understand blueprints and complicated schematics as required to create and build new fixtures, tools, and machine parts
Assist with tooling concept layout and design reviews
Oversee tooling throughout the build process, storage and inventory both internally and externally
Operate vertical mill, surface grinders, lathe, CNC, and EDM
Follow the standards of ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 International Standards
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Associates degree in Tool and Die or Machine Tool Technology
5 years of experience in injection molding tooling
Working knowledge of MS Office, Solidworks, MasterCam, Adobe
Ability to operate machine tools -- vertical mill, surface grinders, CNC, and EDM
