Job Description
As a Specialist in Group Accounting (m/f/d), you will be an integral part of the international team at Bosch Building Technologies in North America, while also collaborating with colleagues in Europe.
You will serve as the primary point of contact for accounting matters related to IFRS and Local GAAP for our subsidiaries.
You will contribute to the preparation of IFRS consolidated financial statements.
You will be responsible for ensuring global accounting compliance by evaluating new business models in close cooperation with our tax department.
Additionally, you will lead the ongoing development of the accounting manual and the formulation of new accounting guidelines.
Your diverse responsibilities will also include active participation in M&A activities, rounding out your role.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in accounting, either in an international corporation or public accounting firm.
Strong understanding of accounting standards according to IFRS and Local GAAP.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Analytical thinker with an independent working style. Assertive and able to take responsibility.
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and manage interdisciplinary collaboration.
Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
5+ years of professional experience in an international corporation or public accounting firm.
Experience working with Global Accounting Shared Service Centers or BPOs.
Previous involvement in M&A activities.
Familiarity with accounting software or IT systems related to financial reporting.
CPA or similar accounting certification preferred.
Prior experience working in interdisciplinary teams with international colleagues, especially across North America and Europe.
Knowledge of German language is a plus.
